A collaboration with Flock Studio
Jenny from Flock is someone you like immediately. She is the creative director behind Flock Studio. Established in 2013 with a focus on colour and geometric pattern it seeks out and sources exciting work to develop into textiles.
I was so excited when Jenny and I started to talk about collaborating. Jenny loved our attention to detail and how all our ottomans are individually designed and handmade here in the UK. From the Beech bun feet, hand turned in Leicestershire, the hand-stitched piping on the lid, the soft opening and close hinges and the 100% British made wool used to line each ottoman. I was even more excited when one of my ottomans was selected for a photoshoot. Jenny chose the Arthur, upholstered in a Flock fabric called Flint by Gyeongmi Shin and lined in midnight blue. Further discussion and a few months on we are now a fully fledged member of the Flock studio.
We recently appeared on the Flock stand at London Design Fair to great feedback.
